Connecting Your Instagram Business Account to Your Facebook Account

Effortlessly manage your Instagram Business Profile by connecting it to your Facebook account. This seamless integration allows for streamlined posting and provides LeadConnector with the necessary permissions, as required by Facebook.

Before You Begin:

• Instagram Business Profile: Confirm that your Instagram profile is set up as a Business profile. If not, learn how to convert it from a Personal profile.
• Facebook Page Role: Ensure you have an Admin or Editor role for the associated Facebook Page. Check your role by referring to Facebook's guidelines on checking your role on a Facebook Page.

Steps to link Facebook page with Instagram profile

Sign in to your Facebook account, navigate to "Pages" at the top left, select the desired Facebook Page, and access "Settings" on the left side to seamlessly link it with your Instagram business account.

Select Instagram Settings:

1. Within Page settings, locate and select "Instagram" from the menu.
2. Proceed to "Connect Instagram Business account.”

Instagram Login:

• Enter your Instagram account credentials (username and password) and log in.
• Integration Complete: Congratulations! Your Instagram business profile is now successfully linked to your Facebook account.

Optional Integration:

• If you wish to further integrate your Instagram Business Profile with Marketing > Social Planner > Settings, follow additional steps for enhanced functionality.

Instagram Profile Type

If you're unsure about the type of Instagram profile you have, follow these steps:

1. Open the Instagram app and go to your profile.
2. Tap on the profile menu located in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Select "Settings" from the list, and then choose "Account."
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the Account page.
5. Identify your profile type based on the options available: Personal profiles will see the "Switch to Professional Account" option.Creator profiles will have the options to switch to a personal account or switch to a business account.Business profiles will also see the options to switch to a personal account or switch to a creator account.
6. Personal profiles will see the "Switch to Professional Account" option.
7. Creator profiles will have the options to switch to a personal account or switch to a business account.
8. Business profiles will also see the options to switch to a personal account or switch to a creator account.
